Betta Botanicals–Guava Leaves

Guava Leaves are natural aquarium botanicals particularly well suited for shrimp tanks and other botanical-style freshwater aquariums. As they become waterlogged and begin to break down, the leaves become part of the aquarium's organic environment while adding the natural appearance of submerged leaf litter.

Their broad leaf shape works well for creating leaf-litter beds and adding coverage across the substrate. Over time, the surfaces of the leaves can support biofilm and microbial colonization, providing additional grazing surfaces for shrimp and other small aquarium inhabitants.

Guava Leaves can be used on their own or mixed with pods, cones, wood, and other leaves to create a more varied botanical environment.
