Betta Botanicals–Small Catappa Leaves

Small Catappa Leaves are high-tannin, A+ grade botanicals ideal for adding natural leaf litter to freshwater aquariums without the size of larger Catappa leaves. Their smaller footprint makes them particularly useful in nano aquariums, betta setups, shrimp tanks, and other environments where more precise botanical placement is desired.

As the leaves become waterlogged, they release tannins while gradually becoming part of the aquarium's organic environment. Their surfaces can also become colonized by biofilm and microorganisms as the leaves begin to break down.

Use Small Catappa Leaves individually or layer them with pods, cones, wood, and other botanicals to create a more varied natural substrate.

Package Size: 12 leaves per bag
